APPROACH

We work closely with our clients, are very deliberate in understanding their needs and in screening candidates for them. We believe in, and nurture, long-term relationships, strive to minimize the time it takes to complete our searches and adhere to all equal employment opportunities guidelines. We expect to be paid at fair market value… but only when are client are successful.

We start by consulting with clients to ensure that we understand and can accommodate their unique organizational requirements and search needs. We are committed to developing with you a process that will be highly effective while efficient and cost effective.

Our Search Strategy is a Five Step Approach

Step 1: Requirement Planning & Scoping

SCP, through initial consultation with the client establishes the foundation and the preliminary work map. It starts with gathering all relevant information through briefings, letters, interviews, consultation meetings and all written documents prior to signing a contract.

Requirement Assessment
We work as a team with the client, we study the required set of skills, organizational relationships, define the required experience and the company's needs to determine the features and to identify other characteristics necessary for the successful candidate. Specific client information is vital in providing an efficient means of communication between our firm and the client.

Step 2: Candidate Search and Identification

Our experience indicates that extensive knowledge of the finance and accounting and accountants' community is necessary to identify the right candidate.

Specification
After carefully assessing the client's needs, we usually prepare a written position that outlines the responsibilities of the position, qualifications required of the ideal candidate, and criteria for success. This specification guides our search efforts. The client provides all useful materials related to the company which we analyze for the posting description.

Search
The specification and requirement is given to our consultants to source out candidates and prospects. Our research team accesses our databases of individuals and company's to identify possible candidates and leads. Our extensive network in the accounting institution, database and exceptional research skills are critical assets.

Professional staff members make selective calls to sources and prospects to identify and interest qualified individuals. Candidates are informed of their status at each stage on behalf of the client. During this period, the consultant reports progress to the client.

Step 3: Candidate Profiling & Assessment

Examination
We conduct tests to all staff and supervisory positions to determine their proficiency in (a) technical competence; (b) computer based softwares such as Microsoft word and Excel; and, (c) general aptitude. The tests include written accounting tests and hands-on computers skills examination.

Interviews and credential verification
After the tests and a thorough evaluation of potential candidates and their applications, we conduct in-depth personal interviews, verification of credentials, reference checks and assessment of the individual strengths and possible limitations with respect to the position.

Preparation of Profiles
Written reports and evaluations of short-listed candidates are prepared and submitted to clients prior to their interviews. Once the consultants select the final candidates, they obtain necessary authorizations and contact individual references who can provide additional insights about the candidate's experiences. The collective comments made by these references are then reviewed and submitted to the client. Confidential written profiles are prepared on individuals who most closely fit the position specification.

Step 4: Client Evaluation and Satisfaction

Presentation of Candidates
Final candidates screened for suitability for the position are interviewed by the consultant and the client who evaluate each on the basis of experience, leadership capabilities and potential fit with the client company.

Final Selection
The final interview with each of the candidates will be conducted by the client company, who will choose the suitable and successful candidate.

Step 5: Completion and Closing

After the successful candidate has been chosen, the search comes to a close. We contact successful and unsuccessful candidates, providing feedback and thanking them for their participation. The search consultant maintains contact with both the client and the selected candidate, helping to ensure the candidate's successful integration into the organization.
